Budget Treasures Travel Club

To Travel is to Live!

The Budget Treasures Travel Club
is a travel club for people
who love to travel but don't love to
spend a lot of money doing it.

We meet the 4th Thursday of every month at
Ross U-Hills Library, 4310 E. Amherst Ave.
Denver, CO 6-7 pm.  Membership is free.

Upcoming Club Presentations

January 28:  “101 Countries” with guest
presenter P.J.Parma.
Join P.J. Parmar for a fun,
colorful presentation on his independent low-budget
travels to over 120 countries on six continents. He
visited his first 101 countries in his mid 20s for $12,000
and in less than one year total time; his travelogue
"
101 Countries: Discovering the World Through Fast
Travel
" will be available. P.J. is also cohost of
America's Dining and Travel national weekly radio
show and The World A La Carte podcast, both with
Pierre Wolfe.

February 25:  "The Saharan Desert in the
Algerian Hoggar"
with guest speaker Greg
Mandel.
Eight hundred miles of off-road travel
without GPS or compass...an Algerian equivalent of a
John Wayne and Indiana Jones adventure!

Home Exchange
How would you like to spend a month  in an apartment  in London, or in a
condo on the beach in California—for free?  Many people enjoy this luxury
every year by trading their homes.  Do you dare try it yourself?

Learn how to arrange a simultaneous or delayed exchange, how to prepare
your home, and whether and how to exchange your car.  Discover helpful
international  networks and organizations, and much more, so you can travel
as a native instead of a tourist.
